16.04.2023: Schwaibach loses 4-0 in Ortenberg
Yesterday, Sunday, the SSV played against SV Ortenberg with a decimated squad. Several players were ill or injured, so that in the end only eleven players were available. Coach Timo Waslikowski also missed the game with a stomach flu. On the artificial turf pitch in Ortenberg, the boys tried their best but were ultimately unable to score any points. The desired offensive power was missing, which meant that they lost 4-0.
Now it’s time to wipe your mouth and prepare well for next Sunday’s match against FC Wolfach.
Our second team also lost their game 5:1.
27.03.2023: SSV experiences debacle at the derby in Ohlsbach
Even before the start of the game, coach Timo Waslikowski had to do without the injured Alexis Keller as well as Christoph Bauernschmid and Daniel Schrempp, who were both ill at short notice.
Schwaibach could not repeat the performance from last weekend and deservedly lost the derby against a strong FC Ohlsbach with 8:1. Although the opening phase was still open, after the 2:1 the SSV got into more and more difficulties and could offer little resistance against the strong hosts.
Our second team also suffered a debacle and was swept off the pitch with a score of 10:0.
Now it’s time to wipe your mouth and prepare well for the tasks ahead in the next two weeks.

Our second team lost their derby 2:1, which was more than unfortunate. They missed several chances to score, so it paid off in the final phase and were able to score the winning goal.
20.11.2022: The SSV narrowly missed a surprise.
Schwaibach drove the league leaders DJK Welschensteinach to despair. The team around player-coach Timo Waslikowski put in an excellent performance and managed to keep the score at 0:0 until shortly before the end thanks to a solid team performance. An unintentional cross from the hosts landed in the far corner by Göppert in the 89th minute and they lost 1:0 unluckily.
Given the fighting spirit, a point-sharing would have been fair, even though the league leaders had more possession.
Now it's time for the winter break. More points would certainly have been possible in the preliminary round, but the team's performance was inconsistent too often. Player-coach Timo Waslikowski is nevertheless satisfied with his team and is convinced that his team will score more points in the second half of the season.
13.11.2022: Schwaibach ends negative streak and wins 2-1.
Before the game began, the SSV suffered a setback. Christian Rattay injured his knee badly during the warm-up and had to be picked up by an ambulance. With that in mind, Chris, the team and the club wish you a speedy recovery.
In the early stages, it was an open exchange of blows where both teams had their chances to take the lead. Lucas Hein put the visitors ahead in the 27th minute with a great lob over SSV keeper Bauernschmid. But the SSV held on despite being behind. A failed cross from Christoph Bauernschmid landed on the crossbar. So they went into the break with a narrow deficit.
After the break, Schwaibach came out of the dressing room better and created several scoring opportunities. Christoph Bauernschmid took advantage of one of these in the 49th minute after a nice cross from player-coach Timo Waslikowski to make it 1:1 for SSV Schwaibach. Now the game was open again, with chances on both sides. However, SSV had more possession in the middle of the second half. Enrico de Sa Ferreira gave SSV Schwaibach a 2:1 lead with a well-placed header after 68 minutes. This was again preceded by a precise cross from player-coach Timo Waslikowski. In the final minutes, the SSV defense held firm and they were able to secure their second win of the season in the last preliminary round match with a well-deserved success.
Coach: It's nice to see that we've finally been rewarded. Despite a few setbacks in the preliminary round, the boys never lost their enjoyment and were very receptive to my instructions. The team certainly still needs time, but we're on the right track for the future. I personally also really enjoy working with the boys. I'm convinced that if everyone keeps pushing, we'll score a few more points in the second half of the season.

06.11.2022: Schwaibach loses thrilling derby at FC Ankara Gengenbach

The agile Lacina Ballo scored the last goal of the turbulent opening phase in the 30th minute. So they went into the break with a narrow deficit.
After the break, Enrico de Sa Ferreira scored his second goal to make it 2-2 (46th minute). Charles Lokula secured FC Ankara Gengenbach's 3-2 (55th minute). Wipe your mouth and carry on: This was the motto of the equalizer, which Christoph Bauernschmid secured shortly afterwards (61st minute). Three minutes later, FC Ankara Gengenbach took the lead with Lokula's second goal. In the 66th minute, player-coach Timo Waslikowski then converted a penalty for SSV Schwaibach to make it 4-4. In the final phase, Schwaibach lacked the "energy" to score again. FC Ankara Gengenbach showed their strength when Ballo (75th minute) and Kaya (80th minute) struck in quick succession in the penalty area. With the final whistle blown by referee Peter Pertschy, the home team deservedly won the fair derby 6-4.

Schwaibach did not get off to a good start at all. Tim Schmid scored the first goal of the game for FC Fischerbach from the penalty spot in the second minute. This was preceded by a major mistake in defense. Stefan Summ scored for Fischerbach to make it 2-0 (32'). The SSV tried hard but repeatedly had unfortunate moves which allowed the guests to take action. They went into the break with a deserved 0-2 deficit.
After the break, the team actually had good opportunities to score a goal, but was repeatedly thwarted by the visiting goalkeeper or their own inability. In the final phase, Philipp Markolf made the decisive goal when he made it 3-0 for FC Fischerbach (78th minute). Enrico de Sa Ferreira was able to score again to make it 1-3 for SSV Schwaibach (83rd minute), but this had no significance in the home defeat.
Gates: 0:1 Schmid (2./ penalty), 0:2 Summ (32.), 0:3 Markolf (78.), 1:3 Ferreira (83.)
The second team lost the preliminary game 2:8 after leading 2:0.
23.10.2022: Schwaibach loses significantly to the league leaders
Before the match, the team had to do without the sick Christoph Bauernschmid, Peter Unrau and coach Timo Waslikowski. So the prospects of winning were not exactly on the SSV's side.
The league leader FC Kirnbach took the lead through Stefan Lehmann in the 18th minute. Dennis Moser was responsible for the 2-0 for coach Raphael Leukel's team (24th minute). Before half-time, the SSV scored a penalty in the 38th minute to make it 1-2. The home team extended their lead as the game progressed. Fabian Staiger (47th minute), an own goal (68th minute) and Kevin Matzander (76th minute) all hit the target and made things clear. Before the final whistle blew, it was Buchholz who made it 6-1 from FC Kirnbach's point of view (88th minute). Ultimately, FC Kirnbach celebrated a well-deserved home victory against Timo Waslikowski's team after a convincing performance.
In the next home game, we hope that everyone will be back on board and that we will get a home win against FC Fischerbach.
Our second team also lost the preliminary game clearly with 8:2.

17.10.2022: SSV loses home game 5:2 against TUS Kinzigtal
After the impressive performance in the derby in Berghaupten, the team wanted to build on that and score three points in the home game against TUS Kinzigtal. But the team led by player-coach Timo Waslikowski never really got into the game from the start. Individual mistakes were punished by the guests, which meant that they were already 4-0 behind in the first half.
After the break, the team wanted to present themselves differently, which the SSV managed to do in the first few minutes. First, Timo Waslikowski scored the 4:1 goal with a free kick (54th minute) and shortly afterwards Schwaibach even managed to reduce the deficit to 2:4 through Christian Rattay after a cross from Timo Waslikowski (60th minute). However, an individual error allowed the guests from Kinzigtal to pull ahead to 5:2 with a penalty. Thus, the game was over.
The team lacked control and passion on the pitch throughout the entire match today. There were also too many individual errors. The guests deservedly took the points back to Kinzigtal.

10.10.2022: SSV narrowly loses derby 3-2 at SV Berghaupten
SSV Schwaibach was able to hold its own against the promotion hopefuls from Berghaupten, especially in the early stages. The hosts were always extremely dangerous on the outside, but the defense was solid. But Tonio Bayer took advantage of a momentary lapse in attention in the 25th minute to give Berghaupten the lead. SSV showed great improvement even after falling behind and had their chances. But the hosts were able to increase their lead to 2-0 through Marco Mussler (39th minute), which was also the score at halftime.
Player-coach Timo Waslikowski found the right words at half-time and the team showed an excellent performance with a united front. In the 46th minute, Maximilian Hoffmann brought the SSV to 1:2 with a Sunday shot into the corner. The hosts were now noticeably nervous and Schwaibach kept on making pinpricks. Christoph Bauernschmid scored another Sunday shot to make it 2:2 (72nd) just after the halfway line, although the SVB keeper did not exactly cut the best figure. In the final phase, the hosts threw everything forward and scored the winning goal (3:2) through Heiko Kälble in the 76th minute.
